I had some extra time today waiting for the Pharmacy to fill a description. Rolled through the Ford lot and hopped out to peek in the window of the two Edge ST’s on the lot. No manual obviously. looks pretty decent in person though. I was pleasantly surprised that it actually kinda looks like I should be an st model (heresy I know). Anyways did they get any handling improvements over standard? Also I saw an eco sport I think in the back corner of the lot but didn't have the time to stop and look. will definitely be checking it out later. Not because im interested but just because its a quirky little thing.

If they would stop calling it a sports car and stop comparing it to Ferrari’s in commercials then I might take one seriously.

They had one at the auto show here in Indy. I didn't sit in it because I was too busy laughing at the $50k MSRP. I'll keep my speculation to myself because I haven't driven one.

This
Is a better value for money with the ST badge than the Edge

My sister works for the agency that handles Ford in the US.
She recently went from a Titanium Edge to the ST. In my opinion, a noticeable improvement in all areas including handling. Would I pay what they ask for them over alternatives? Unlikely. But, fun to drive when she’s visiting or when we’re are in the Detroit area.

Surprising Ford would use the ST name for their full size SUV rather than Raptor. We’ll get a Raptor Ranger next gen, we have the Raptor f150. Seems like the ST badge should have stuck with the small sporty hatches (still think the boosted mustang should be ST and the v8 the GT).

I found the Edge Sport that came before it to have a nice motor and slightly above average handling capability for a large-ish midsize crossover. But it was still a boring large-ish midsize crossover with a just-ok interior for its surprisingly high price.
Then again, the new Chevy Blazer RS is way slower and even more expensive so there’s that.

I wonder if they’re aware their minivan lacks sliding doors....

Pretty sure I can buy 2 proper minivans for the cost of that one.
